This beautiful girl needs a loving home. Darla was abandoned on the streets of Worcester and contracted feline leukemia. She was extremely malnourished from eating out of trash cans when someone found her and took her in. Darla snapped positive for leukemia and was later confirmed with an IFA test. She was adopted by a friend who has another leukemia positive cat, but Darla does not like other cats and went after her on several occasions. She gave it a lot of time and effort, but it is not working out and Darla has to be kept separated until we can find a home for her. Darla loves people and is a very mellow laid back cat, but needs a home with no other cats. She may not live as long as other cats, but we still feel that she deserves a loving home as much as anyone else. She has stolen the heart of everyone who has met her. If you can think of anyone who might be interested, please forward this to them. Feel free to contact me with any questions about Darla or leukemia at (508)826-1083 or vanatten@yahoo.com. Darla has been spayed and is up to date on vaccinations. Thank you, Laurence |
