Summer Happenings!
Baypath welcomes a new team member!

We're very excited to announce the addition of our new team member, Jeanine Lorusso. As the Director of Animal Programs, Jeanine will work closely with our staff, volunteers, and the community at large to improve the Baypath experience for our dogs, cats, and adopters. As a specialist in animal behavior as well as a long-time volunteer, she will build upon our programs that enrich the lives of the animals in our care.

Jeanine is trained in dog behavior and certified to perform AniMatch evaluations, which provide an objective way of determining a dog's temperament. She studied at the American College of Applied Science and interned at Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society in Springfield.

Her most important role, though, is mom to cat Gracie, a Baypath alum, and dogs Manny and Goose.

Welcome to the team, Jeanine!

Kenna is healthy and ready for her forever home!

Kenna is a sweet senior who was in desperate need of life-saving surgery for a serious uterine infection. We quickly teamed up with our wonderful veterinary partners at Natick Animal Clinic to help out this beautiful girl.

Thanks to a $15,000 grant from the Petco Foundation, we've been able to afford necessary medical expenses for senior and special needs animals like Kenna. She then came back to Baypath to continue her recovery in the care of our dedicated staff and volunteers.
Here at the shelter, Kenna continues to win over the hearts of everyone she meets. She always is game for a stroll down the street or to curl up next to you for a brushing. This sweet soul will make a wonderful companion for a very lucky family!

Get to know Kenna!

Starting Sept. 15, closed on Tuesdays

Starting this fall, we will be closed to the public on Tuesdays. We will use these days to focus on animal enrichment and give our animals a day to rest and recharge. We'll be cleaning, handling medical issues, conducting behavioral assessments, and doing more training. Thank you for your support!
