This year, I was so lucky to be able to add 13-year-old Nellie to my family. She is the perfect representation of why I love Baypath so much.
Nellie was found being sold at a yard sale, and rescuers brought her to Baypath. I took her home with the intention of fostering her but quickly realized that she wasn't going anywhere! She completed my four-footed family with her beautiful smile, endless spunk, and gentle demeanor.
Most other shelters would not have given a dog like Nellie the opportunity to find a second chance. Baypath does this every day for so many deserving dogs and cats, locally and across the U.S.
