Hi Everyone!! Thank you all so very much or helping sweet Sebastian! Great news!! Sebastian has recovered from this blockage and was able to go home last night with his mom. Fortunately he did NOT need surgery and we’re keeping our fingers crossed that it stays that way. He was sent home on an antispasmodic and an anti-inflammatory. He needs to go back for follow up in a few weeks, but his owner was told to go back immediately if he was to block again. The bill came to $888.80. Some of our generous donors didn’t use the website link and donated to the vet directly so there was a $150 credit posted to his account because of those donations. That left his balance at $738.80 that we paid out of the monies that were raised from his fundraiser website. Total raised there to date was $860.00 so that leaves us with $121.20 left to use should he need it. The plan is to put that towards his follow-up visit in a few weeks if he does not need it sooner because of a second blockage. If he doesn’t block, and we don’t use the rest of the $121.20 for his follow-up visit then it will be used for the special food that he needs to maintain his urinary health.
