On March 1, 2014, Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton is having its 2nd Annual Fur Ball from 7 PM to midnight at Acacia Indian Meadows in Westborough. This is one of Baypath's largest fundraisers of the year and all proceeds benefit the cats and dogs at the shelter. The Fur Ball includes live entertainment from the band Bob's Your Uncle, food, raffles, live and silent auctions, and dancing. Last year's event sold out!
For this year's Fur Ball we are seeking raffle and auction items to raise much needed funds for Baypath. Your donation is fully tax-deductible and you will be recognized in the auction booklet and on signage for your donation.
Our wish list includes:
- Sporting event tickets for the Boston Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, New England Revolution or Pawtucket Red Sox
- Signed memorabilia from a celebrity i.e. picture, baseball, bat or book.
- Passes/Tickets to regional attractions such as the New England Aquarium, Museum of Science, Worcester Art Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Newport Mansion Tours, or Mystic Seaport.
- A week or weekend away at a rental home or timeshare within driving distance
- Overnight or multi-night stays at hotels, inns, or bed & breakfasts
- Ski resort passes or ski / hotel packages
- Winery tours, tasting parties and/or bottles of wine (over $25 in value)
- Tours & Excursions i.e. Segway, Fenway park, Duck, Whale watching, Sailing, Kayaking, or Fishing.
- Local experiences like cooking classes w/a professional cook, private training session with a pet trainer.
- Local restaurant gift certificates/cards
- New Cat trees/climbers and Dog Beds
- Pet boarding, grooming, or veterinary care gift certificates
