Not that they really have ever been gone but the ticks are here in full force!! I have been finding them on my own dogs and also midday dogs. So we should be sure to give our pets the once over for ticks at least once a day and don't foget to check yourself too!
The Spring Festival is Just Around the Corner
Saturday April 30 and Sunday, May 1 Westborough Spring Festival at Bay State Commons, and a variety of locations around town.
Saturday, April 30 Schedule:
While driving between pet visits today, I heard an interview on the radio with a Vet from Tufts Vet Hospital warning cat owners of the danger to cats from Easter Lilies. If cats eat the leaves of these plants it can and usually does cause fatal kidney failure. So protect all our very loved kitties this holiday weekend!
The Mad River Path Assoc. (as mentioned in an earlier post) will be kicking off a Valley "Wags for Bags" campaign mid-May... We're ordering the 10 new dog waste stations this week. I'll let ya' know when the work party will be to assemble and install the stations at strategic spots along the Path network... We'll definitely need help.
The Mad River Path Association is ordering 10 waste stations thanks to private donations, a grant from the Valley Rotary club and funding from the Town of Waitsfield.
The MRPA continues to research possible sites for a leash free path. Feel free to send us any suggestions firstname.lastname@example.org
